Xiaomi has recently launched its Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones in China, and the company’s global VP Manu Kumar Jain had confirmed the Redmi K20 series venture in less than six weeks in India as well. Apart from top selling phones in India, the Chinese manufacturer has also topped in sales when it comes to wearables department. Ever since the launch of Mi Band in India, it has been doing pretty good in sales – thanks to the aggressive pricing from Xiaomi and its significant tracking and monitoring features. The company had unveiled Mi Band 3, last year and the company is already geared up to launch its successor in China, this month.
Xiaomi Beijing has officially teased the new Mi Band 4 in its Chinese microblogging website Weibo, suggesting us the launch of the new band is imminent on June 11 in China. The teaser image showcases the band itself featuring an AMOLED color display, which is new when compared to the regular OLED display on Band 3, and the company’s Weibo site also suggests that the new Mi Band 4 would be coming with lots of new features alongside the much more improved battery life as well.
The launch event is scheduled on June 11, and the event is said to be ‘smart life new product launch conference’ organized by Xiaomi.
