These phones are a mix of Xiaomi’s well-known hardware and Google’s latest software offered in an affordable mid-range price bracket. The first Android One powered Mi phone — the Mi A1 was launched back in 2017 and the next iteration — the Mi A2 early last year. And, the successor to the Mi A2 is due this year; however, it appears the company is working on it.
According to folks at Android Authority and the recent FCC listings, Xiaomi is indeed working on a new smartphone that seems to be an Android One powered smartphone. With the recent FCC list filings, a new Xiaomi device bearing M1906F9SH model number has been filed. Further, these filings reveal a new XIaomi new device’ back panel indicating some of the interesting features of the new entrant.
