Vivo Z3 with Waterdrop Display & Dual Turbo Technology Launched in China

As announced earlier, Vivo launched its latest smartphone called Vivo Z3 in China today. While the device looks exactly similar to the Vivo Z3i, the new Vivo Z3 offers better hardware. It comes with glossy finish polycarbonate body and will be available in Black, Blue, and Pink color options. All the three color options offer gradient finish which makes the device look premium. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based FuntouchOS 4.5 out of the box.

It also supports the all-new Vivo Dual Turbo technology which improves the performance of the device while playing games. Just like the Honor Play smartphone, the Vivo Z3 also comes with 4D gaming experience tech that offers gaming controller like vibrations. Talking about the specifications, the Vivo Z3 sports a 6.3-inch display with Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio display.

While the 4GB RAM variant comes powered by 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 360 CPU and Adreno 615 GPU, the 6GB RAM variant features 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 360 CPU and Adreno 616 GPU. There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage up to 256GB. In terms of optics, the Vivo Z3 sports 16MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the rear and 24MP selfie camera on the front.

The device sports rear-facing fingerprint sensor and also supports IR face unlock. It is backed by a 3,315mAh battery and might support fast charging. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It measures 155.97 × 75.63 × 8.1 mm and weighs 163.7 grams. Talking about the pricing, the Vivo Z3 with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage is priced at CNY 1598.

Coming to the 6GB RAM variant of the Vivo Z3, the 64GB and 128GB storage options will be costing CNY 1898 and CNY 2298 respectively. The device is currently available to pre-order in China and sales will begin from November 1st. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
