Vivo Z1 Pro to Go Official on July 3 in India

Vivo has been teasing its new Z series launch in India for quite a while now. The new Vivo Z1 Pro is likely to be the first phone that is said to be released by the company in the country under its ‘Z’ series. We’ve already got our hands on the new Vivo Z1 Pro, which now actually gets a launch date in the country. According to Vivo’s India site, it is believed that the latest Vivo Z1 Pro would be going official on July 3, 2019.

With less than two weeks ahead of the launch, here’s everything we know so far with Vivo’s latest mid-range smartphone — the Vivo Z1 Pro. The Z1 Pro will be featuring a 6.53-inch FHD+ full-screen display with punch-hole camera, which is the first implementation by Vivo on its smartphones. The punch-hole trend has been started earlier by Honor and Samsung with its View 20 and the Galaxy S10 series respectively.

Under the hood, the Vivo Z1 Pro is powered by a 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC with Adreno 616 GPU. On the storage front, the Z1 Pro will feature 4/6GB RAM along with 64/128GB storage variants. As for the optics, the Z1 Pro hosts a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch hole display on the front. Three triple rear cameras are featuring a 16MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor for bokeh effect with an aperture of f/2.4.

The Vivo Z1 Pro is kept alive by a massive 5000mAh battery that supports 18W Fast Charging as well. It ships with FuntouchOS 9 running on top of Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box. The company has been promoting this as a gaming-centric smartphone with multi-turbo features, and the device is said to be the official smartphone for PUBG Mobile Club 2019 as well.
