Earlier this month, Vivo launched the Vivo V11 Pro smartphone in India with Halo display and Snapdragon 660 SoC. It is currently the most affordable smartphone to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor in India. Vivo also started teasing the launch of Vivo V9 Pro. The device will be launched exclusively on Amazon India on September 26th. Now, the company came up with a new smartphone called Vivo V11.
While the Vivo V11 Pro is retailing for Rs 25,990, the new Vivo V11 is priced at Rs 23,990. On the design front, the Vivo V11 looks very much similar to the Vivo V11 Pro. However, the Vivo V11 will feature a rear-facing fingerprint sensor instead of an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device comes with a glossy finish back body with gradient finish. It will be available in Starry Night Black and Nebula Purple color options.
Though there is just Rs 2,000 price difference between the Vivo V11 and V11 Pro, the V11 actually comes with several compromises. Apart from missing the in-display fingerprint sensor, the Vivo V11 also misses the AMOLED panel. It sports a slightly smaller 6.3-inch LTPS display with Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) resolution. The Vivo V11 will come powered by 12nm MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU and 6GB of RAM.
There 64GB of internal storage that can be further expandable using the dedicated MicroSD card slot. In terms of optics, the Vivo V11 features 16MP and 5MP dual rear cameras with f/2.0 and f/2.4 aperture respectively. On the front is a 25MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. As seen on Vivo V11 Pro, the upcoming Vivo V11 also supports AI scene detection, AI face beauty, AR stickers, portrait mode, and AI selfie lighting.
The Vivo V11 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based FunTouch 4.5 out of the box. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, FM Radio, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It measures 155.97 x 75.63 x 8.1 mm and weighs 163.7 grams. While the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge, the triple card slot is on the left edge. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
