Earlier this week, OPPO has officially launched the OPPO F9 and F9 Pro smartphones in the India market. The devices come powered by Helio P60 chipset and feature Waterdrop screen with a V-shaped notch. Now, Vivo has confirmed to launch the Vivo V11 Pro smartphone in India on September 6th. The teaser images confirm the V11 Pro to come with the V-shaped notch display, but the company is calling it as halo display. While there is no official confirmation, the full specifications of the device are already leaked online.

Firstly, there are a few similarities between the Vivo V11 Pro and the Vivo X21, the first smartphone with an in-display fingerprint sensor to launch in India. The upcoming Vivo V11 Pro will also come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Also, the vertically staked dual cameras on the device feature 12MP and 5MP sensors. However, the 25MP selfie camera on the front is now on par with OPPO’s latest smartphone. Following the latest trend, the Vivo V11 Pro also comes with the gradient finish back body with curved edges.

It sports a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED Halo display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 260 CPU and Adreno 512 GPU. The device packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be expandable additionally up to 256GB. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with the in-house FunTouch UI on top. Along with the in-display FPS, the Vivo V11 Pro also supports face unlock feature.

It is backed by a 3,400mAh non-removable battery and might support fast charging as well. Both the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge. As seen on the Vivo NEX, there is no dedicated AI button for Google Assistant. It measures 157.91 x 75.08 x 7.9 mm and weighs 156 grams. Take these details with a pinch of salt and wait for the official announcement. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details about the upcoming Vivo smartphones!
