Last month, Chinese Android OEM Vivo has introduced its new Vivo ’S’ series in China. The company had unveiled its new Vivo S1 smartphone as part of the launch. The Vivo S1 featured triple rear cameras set up and also included a 24.8MP front facing pop-up selfie camera as well. And, now, the company had unveiled the Pro version of it named – the Vivo S1 Pro in the Chinese market.
The new Vivo S1 Pro looks pretty much identical to the earlier released Vivo S1 featuring a no notch display on the front – thanks to the pop-up selfie camera. The Vivo S1 Pro features a 6.39-inch Full HD+ display, which also has a fingerprint sensor beneath the screen. Under the hood, the Vivo S1 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 SoC, followed by 6GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage, and also there’s another variant that features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage as well. The storage can further be expanded via microSD for up to 256GB.
As for the optics, similar to the Vivo S1, the S1 Pro also comes with triple rear cameras on the back that comprises of – a 48MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.78, and an 8MP wide-angle camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture, further followed by a 5MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 as well. On the front, the Vivo S1 Pro can capture your selfies with a 32MP pop-up selfie camera.
The Vivo S1 Pro ships with the latest Android 9.0 Pie with Funtouch OS 9 running on top of it. Further, the S1 Pro is kept alive by a 3700mAh battery that supports Vivo’s dual engine flash charge as well. On the connectivity front, the Vivo S1 Pro supports dual SIMs, Wi-Fi, VoLTE, Bluetooth and features a micro USB 2,0 port for charging.
And lastly, the Vivo S1 Pro is launched in China for CNY 2698 (approx Rs 27,800), and the Chinese website suggests the same pricing for both the variants and these devices are said to go on sale from May 9th in Chinese markets. Stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more such interesting updates.
