UMI Zero 2 teased, to come with a secondary E-ink display on the back

UMI, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has teased about its upcoming smartphone, ZERO 2. The new device would be sporting a dual-screen, and would jump on the bandwagon with YotaPhone, which has the only two dual-screen devices in the market right now. Being the third, it would have an edge over YotaPhone and YotaPhone 2, as the company may have learnt a lot from its only competition.
The most interesting part of this market is that there is a lot to explore here, since there are only handfuls of devices with dual-screen available in the market. The company teased the new offering on their official Facebook page with a tagline, “Duplex Life”.
The ZERO 2 would be sporting an E INK display on its back, similar to the YotaPhones. The aim is to deliver the better reading experience while also allowing the battery to consume less power.
The specification about the new UMI device hasn’t been revealed yet, but the rumours reports says that it would come with a 5.2-inch Full HD (1080p) primary display. Other specs include, MediaTek MT6752 mobile chipset, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 13MP rear shooter, and 5MP front-facing snapper for selfies.
There is also no release date confirmed by the device manufacturer, but you can expect it to come soon, as the company has started to tease the officially. Moreover, UMI is expected to launch the ZERO 2 for a pricing around $500.
