Ulefone Launches Metal Smartphone with Fingerprint Sensor & 3050 mAh battery

Ulefone, the Chinese manufacturer company has launched many impressive smartphones at an affordable price segment. Recently, this brand had launched a budget-friendly smartphone with improved enhancements, which was named as Ulefone U007 and priced at $50. Now, the company has announced another smartphone with decent specifications called as Ulefone Metal. The handset comes with a metal body design with Palm-friendly curves that brings you excellent grip feel while holding the device with the CNC cutting and grit blasting techniques.

The Ulefone Metal smartphone features a 5-inch HD display with 720p pixel resolution that represents a pixel density as 294 PPI and uses the on-cell technique. There is a 2.5D curved screen and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which protects the device from scratches and minor drops. Under the hood, it comes powered by a 1.3GHz, 64-bit Cortex -A53 Octa-core processor, which has a MediaTek MT6753 SoC coupled with Mali T720 GPU and 3GB RAM, which supports daily tasks such as web browsing and gaming.

The dual SIM smartphone offers 4G LTE connectivity that adopts amazing web browsing experience up to 150Mbps download speed of 4G and 50Mbps upload speed. The Ulefone Metal smartphone features the fingerprint sensor that unlocks a device in just 0.2s with a success rate of 99% and also has an Off-screen Gestures that provides to open an application by writing a letter such as e for Browser app, C for Camera app, V for Music app and W for Email app.

It runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow with pre-loaded applications out of the box. The Ulefone Metal smartphone houses 16GB built-in memory that can further expand up to 128 GB via micro SD card support. On the camera side, it carries 13-megapixel autofocus primary camera with Sony IMX149 sensor and LED flash, which can record videos up to 1080p at 30 frames per second. There is a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies and video calling.

The handset comes packed with a 3050 mAh Lithium-Polymer capacity battery that claims to offer a 320 hours of standby time and measures 143 x 71 x 9.35 mm dimensions and 155 grams of weight. Sensors on the device include Hall Effect Sensor, Gravity Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor and Touch Sensor. The other connectivity options include Bluetooth, FM Radio, OTG, Wi-Fi, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. The device will be available in Black, Space Grey and Silver White color options.
