Just when we thought Windows phones are history, Lenovo decided to surprise us with a Windows device. Yes, these products are still coming to the market, even though they are not really appreciated by many. This latest device by Lenovo is called the 503LV. This device was announced in Japan through the SoftBank mobile operator. It is expected to be available sometime in October or worst case by early 2017.
This new Lenovo 503LV comes with a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720. The device will be powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 (MSM8952) processor, which is clocked at 1.5 GHz. It is coupled with 3GB of RAM and will have 32GB onboard internal storage. And in case you run out pf this storage space, then you can expand it via a microSD card upto a 128GB for added space.
This device supports 4G LTE as well. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 AND 3.5 mm headphone jack. The internals is powered by a 2,250 mAh battery. On the camera side, we have an 8-megapixel rear facing camera supported by a LED flash and on the front, we have a 5-megapixel front facing shooter. The device will be available in only one color option i.e. black, which will weigh about 144 grams and will be 7.6 mm in thickness.
The company also launched another budget offering Moto E 2016 under Motorola brand, so if you want a new Android offering from the company in this segment then check it out. The device comes with comes with the same 5-inch display with HD resolution and will be powered by a quad-core processor. It will be powered by a 2,800 mAh battery and will run the latest and greatest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The official pricing of the Lenovo 503LV is not known yet. Also, we don’t have nay info as to when it will launch or what will the pricing be in India, so we will update the article once we have a confirmation on the release date or the price.
