Toshiba is going to showcase the Satellite Radius 12 convertible laptop at IFA today. And the company is claiming that is the world’s first “12.5-inch Ultra HD 4K Convertible” laptop in the market. Coming in two display options, where you can opt for a Full HD (1920 x 1080) or else go with a 4K (3840 x 2160) display.
The Radius 12 is powered by an Intel’s latest Skylake processors having options of up to Core i7, as well as up to 8GB of RAM. The company is touting their new offering as the ultimate convertible laptop, which can be transformed into a tablet, much like Lenovo’s Yoga series.
It comes with two regular USB ports and HDMI output. The developers of this tablet claimed that they have designed the USB type C port for this Windows laptop. The tablet also includes the Windows Hello feature that is a part of Windows 10 and allows users to login with the help of fingerprint. The device also comes with HD webcam supports.
The typical 12.5-inch laptop come with Intel’s RealSense camera so we are expecting that Toshiba could also implement the Full HD camera for the 15-inch Laptops. The device will come with all the latest compatible features as that on in a laptop. Stay tuned for further updates about the device.
