Huami has been selling smart wearable devices under the Amazfit brand for a long time. It is also the manufacturer of the popular Mi Band fitness trackers. Last month, the company has launched two new wearable devices in the Indian market called as Amazfit Bip and Amazfit Stratos. The Amazfit Stratos is a proper smartwatch that comes with a premium looking design and features all the important sensors. It is priced at Rs 15,499 and is available exclusively on Flipkart.

Now, let’s talk about the 5 top features of the Amazfit Stratos smartwatch.

• 12+ Sport Tracking Modes

The watch can automatically track steps, distance, calories burned, heart rate and sleep quality. It also suggests movement reminders when you are idle for a too long time. With the built-in GPS sensors, the Stratos can also track different sports like running, walking, cycling, swimming, trail running, triathlon, tennis, soccer, skiing, and more. It also got the VO2 Max sensor for measuring maximum oxygen consumption. While the fitness data can be viewed on Amazfit Watch App 2.0, you can also sync the Amazfit Stratos with the Strava app.

• Premium Build Quality

The Amazfit Stratos is the best looking Amazfit product we have ever seen. It comes with the ceramic bezel which we usually found much more premium smartwatches. The Always-on touchscreen display is protected by the 2.5D Corning Gorilla glass. While there a total of three stainless steel physical buttons on the right, the main button in the middle comes with a nice textured finish to distinguish from the other two. These buttons are for navigating through the UI and can be customized for certain shortcuts. The 22mm silicone strap provided with the watch can also be replaced with any other 22nm strap.

• 5+ Days Battery Life

We have been several smartwatches launching every year, but not many of them provide great battery life. With all the features, we usually don’t get more than a day of battery life. However, the new Amazfit Stratos is said to give more than 5 days of battery life. Also, we don’t find any compromises on the Stratos for getting such a good battery life. With the basic usage, you can even get up to 11 days of battery life. It packs a 290mAh Li-polymer battery and there is a proprietary magnetic cradle to charge the smartwatch.

• 5 ATM Water Resistance

Nowadays, we see many wearable devices coming with basic waterproofing and there are always limitations in using them. The Amazfit Stratos comes with 5ATM water resistance which means it can be taken up to 50 meters underwater. Since the smartwatch can also track swimming, you can just leave it on your wrist without any issues. Since the strap is also made up of silicone material, there won’t any damages when it get contacted with water.

• Built-in GPS

The built-in GPS is one essential sensor to track activities even when you are not carrying your smartphones. While most smartwatches use the GPS data from the connected smartphone, the built-in GPS on the Stratos makes it possible to be used as a standalone device. Apart from built-in GPS, the Amazfit Stratos also includes a range of sensors like a gyroscope, barometer, and an optical heart rate sensor.
