Sugar Phone S20 with 6.18″ Notch Display & 12MP + 5MP Dual Rear Cameras

A couple of year’s ago, we have covered about the Sugar Phone F7 which came with the camera module studded with Swarovski Crystals. Now, the company has launched its new smartphone called Sugar Phone S20 in China. As the company also sells its smartphones in Hong Kong, it should be made available there in the next couple of weeks. With the S20, the company just followed the current trend of smartphones with notch display, dual rear cameras, and gradient finish glass back body.

It is priced at 1999 Yuan (approx $300 / Rs 20,000) for 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. As of now, there is no information about the pricing of other storage variants. The Sugar Phone will come in Fantasy Purple, Rose Gold, and Phantom Gray color options. It sports metal frame with curved glass back body. On the front is the 6.18-inch In-cell display with Full HD+ (2246 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio.

Just like many other 19:9 smartphones, the Sugar Phone S20 also comes with a notch on the top. At $300, the device comes powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor. The device comes in 3GB + 32GB. 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB storage options. There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage. The company is pushing this device as a complete replacement for the professional translator. However, these days almost all smartphones can translate the voice, text, and images.

Talking about the cameras, the S20 sports 12MP + 5MP dual rear cameras with f/2.0 aperture and a 16MP single front camera with the same f/2.0 aperture. It is backed by a 3,500mAh battery and supports up to 5V/2A power input. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. On the rear, we can also spot a circular fingerprint sensor. We can’t expect the company to launch outside China and Hong Kong.
