Pre-requisites : You should have Sony LifeLog account, if not, then, create one as it would be required to sync all the data from your Smartband.

Note : The Smartband SWR10 is only compatible with the devices running Android 4.4 Kitkat or above operating system only.

Method 1 – Here is the step-by-step guide to set up your SmartBand using Bluetooth:

• The first thing you need to make sure is that your Smartband has been charged to at least 30 minutes.
• Now install the Sony’s Smart Connect app from Google Play Store. If you already have it, then upgrade to the latest update.

• Turn on your Sony SmartBand by holding the button for few seconds.
• To pair the Smartband and smartphone, you need to turn on the Bluetooth on your phone and select the device named SWR10.
• Open the Smart Connect application on your phone.
• Now install and open the SmartBand application named SWR10 from Google Play Store.

• Setup the preferences according to your needs; Night mode timings, Incoming call alerts, Smart wake up are the few things that you can control via Smartband application.
• You will be able to see in the status bar, whenever the SmartBand is connected or not.

Method 2 – Here is the step-by-step guide to set up your Sony SmartBand using NFC:

• The first thing you need to make sure is that your Smartband has been charged to at least 30 minutes.
• Now install the Sony’s Smart Connect app from Google Play Store. If you already have it, then upgrade to the latest update.
• Turn on your Sony SmartBand by holding the button for few seconds.
• To pair the Smartband and smartphone, you need to turn on the NFC function on your phone (screen should be active and unlocked).

• Now gently place your phone over your SmartBand so that the NFC area of each device touches the other.
• It will automatically connect the both devices and initiate the SmartBand application where you need to follow the prompts and complete installation.
• Setup the preferences according to your needs; Night mode timings, Incoming call alerts, Smart wake up are the few things that you can control via Smartband application.
• You will be able to see in the status bar, whenever the SmartBand is connected or not.

Note : If you touch the NFC areas of each device to each other after all applications are installed and your SmartBand is on and connected, the Lifelog application starts automatically.
