Samsung Rolling Out new Software Update to Galaxy M20 in India

Samsung has started rolling out a new update to its Galaxy M20 smartphone which brings improvements to the charging performance. It will also fix many bugs along with improving the overall stability of the handset and brings general performance improvements. The update is based on Android 8.1 Oreo which will also bring March 2019 security patch. The update is pushed via OTA so it might take some time before it hits your device.

According to the software update information, the update for the Galaxy M20 will come with the firmware version M205FDDU1ASD1/M205FODM1ASC2/M205FDDU1ASC2 and weighs 118.46MB in size. If you have not received the update and can’t wait for it, you can also do it manually by going into the setting of the smartphone and selecting the system updates section. If there is the file to be downloaded then download it and install the update. Make sure you back up all the important data before the installation and check if the phone has enough batter in it.

Talking about the phone, the Galaxy M20 comes with a 6.3-inch Infinity-V display with an FHD+ resolution and under the hood, it is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 7904 chipset with eight core. It will be offered in 3GB as well as 4GB RAM options along with 32GB and 64GB of storage. Furthermore, the handset comes with a 13MP main camera sensor with an f/1.9 aperture size along with a 5MP ultra-wide angle sensor.

For selfies, the Samsung has provided the device with an 8MP camera which is placed in the infinity-V notch.
