Last year, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 6T smartphone running on the latest Oxygen OS 9.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie. Later the company also released the Oxygen OS 9.0 update for the OnePlus 6, OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 5 smartphones. OnePlus also promised to update the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T to the latest Oxygen OS 9.0. The Android 9.0 Pie update will be the last major OS update for both these devices.
After the months-long delay, the company finally released the Android 9.0 Pie update in the form of community beta build. The users won’t be receiving any OTA update for this new update. Instead, the user has to download the latest firmware from the company’s website and needs to flash it manually. Both the devices came with Oxygen OS based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
Below is the changelog of the new Oxygen OS 9.0 update for both the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones.
