Samsung Gear Circle Announced – A Wireless Wearable Earphone

Samsung is keeping its interests in all kinds of wearables, just like it did for Android smartphones, the South Korean giant is deeply investing in all kinds of wearables be it smartwatches like Gear 2, Gear Live or fitness band like Gear Fit. With recently introduced Gear S smartwatch being powered by Tizen OS, company also announced a wearable or says an accessory that connects your smartphone via Bluetooth connection.

Samsung Gear Circle The Gear Circle is a wireless earphone, which can easily pair with your smartphone as it will alert you to calls and notifications. Company says that users of this accessory can also use this wearable device’s Bluetooth connection to listen to music as well as issue voice commands on their smartphone. The wearable tech comes with a two sensors (Magnetic and Touch) installed on it and will give you 300 hours of standby, 11 hours of talktime and 9 hours of music on a full charged 180 mAh battery, according to the company.

The new earphones, when not in use, can be stuffed away in your pocket or wore around your neck; as it has a metal clasp that allows it to turn into a necklace. But if you really think about the device, there is no specific market for this wearable accessory, as people are not tend to wear earphone look alike accessories in public. Although, it is a one of its kind device introduced by Samsung, which has no particular market needs for now, but if the response about this product comes out good, then we might see another upgraded model with more features than just receiving calls and notifications.

Samsung Gear Circle will come in three colors options – Black, Blue, and White -starting this October the wearable device will roll out to the global consumers.
