Samsung had officially launched the Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 smartphones today in India. The Galaxy On series smartphone can compete against the sub Rs. 10,000 priced devices that offer some good value for money specifications. The Galaxy On7 is the larger variant among both the devices. It comes with a plastic built body with chrome finished frame around it. The device is priced at Rs. 10,990 and will be exclusively sold through Flipkart.

It sports a larger 5.5-inch HD display compared to the 5-inch display of On5. The device is powered by 64-bit Snapdragon quad-core processor along with Adreno 306 GPU for better graphic performance. It sports the same 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which are also offered on Galaxy On5.

The Galaxy On7 comes with a bigger 3,000mAh battery that can last upto 24 hours on mixed usage. It supports dual SIM dual standby and runs on TouchWiz UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. As of now the device is available in Black and Gold colors. Connectivity on this device includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS and MicroUSB 2.0 port.

Much better improvements can be found in the camera department, where it sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. These are the same set of camera that are also found on the Rs. 13,000 priced Galaxy J5 and in addition that also comes with a front LED flash. The design of the device looks similar between both the On series devices.
