Oukitel, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is coming with their new smartphone, which would be aptly named as U7 Pro. An alleged successor to the U7, the new handset has been leaked by a credible source. It will sport a 5.5-inch HD Display and comes powered a Quad–Core chipset clocking at 1.3GHz. The device runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 version with custom changes by the company.

The U7 Pro would be coming with a polycarbonate cover piece on the back, which is the least statement when we say that it would give you a premium look and handling feel. U7. It is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek Quad-Core processor along with 1GB of RAM.

The slogan suggests company is more focused in offering a device with beautiful aesthetics, as well as a cost-effective smartphone. We expect the U7 Pro to be priced around in the sub $100 range of smartphones, just like the U7. The U7 Pro is priced at $70 and is available in the colors Space Grey, Champagne Gold, and Ivory White.

To jog up your memory, the U7 packs similar 5.5-inch display with qHD (960 x 540) resolution, while U7 Pro also comes with the same HD display but the resolution is bumped up to 720p. Priced at just $50, the U7 offer 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera and the U7 Pro has a 13-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front.

The company is known to offer the premium-ish look and features on their smartphones. For instance, check out or review of their U10 smartphone, which is the flagship device, by specification, not pricing. Priced at $160 the U10 was a pretty impressive smartphone for its price, as it offers great built quality, a unibody design, a quick fingerprint scanner and lots of other interesting features at an inexpensive pricing.
