We had exclusively reported about the launch of the Samsung Galaxy ON5 and Galaxy ON7 to held in the next few weeks, now we have the official images and specifications of the Galaxy ON5 and ON7. The comes with some good camera sensors along with better build quality at an affordable price. Earlier this week, the company had launched a new Tizen-powered smartphone ‘Samsung Z3’ in India that is priced at Rs.8,490. The upcoming Galaxy ON 5 and ON 7 will be manufactured in India as the Samsung Z3 which is also a “Make in India” initiative. The Galaxy ON 5 will sport a 5-inch 720p Super AMOLED display while the Galaxy ON 7 will come with a slightly bigger 5.5-inch display with the same 720p resolution.
Under the hood, both the devices will be powered by in-house Exynos 3475 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with 1.5GB of RAM. There will be 8GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The Galaxy ON 5 comes with a 2,600mAh battery while the ON 7 will sport slightly bigger 3,000mAh battery.
The Galaxy ON 7 comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and f/2.1 aperture, and the ON 5 comes with an 8MP rear camera with same f/2.1 aperture and LED flash. On the front, both the devices sports the same 5MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2. These are the same set of camera that are featured in Galaxy J5. Talking about the pricing the Galaxy ON 5 will be priced around Rs.10,000 while Galaxy ON 7 will cost around Rs.13,000.
Connectivity on this devices includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0. The device will also include the Mix Radio app for music streaming with a lifetime free subscription. The My Galaxy app that was launched by Samsung few days ago will also be pre-installed on the devices. The devices are expected to be launched before the end of this month.
