Samsung has been launching the Note Series of devices at the IFA Event that’s held in berlin every year but looks like this year the new Galaxy Note 7 & the Note 7 Edge devices will be launched in August. According to the leaked information, the event will be happening on August 2nd at the unpacked 2016 that will be hosted in New York. We had earlier reported that Samsung is skipping the Note 6 & going for the Note 7 that is finally confirmed with the recent leaks & all the rumors we have been hearing.

This year we are also expecting the Note7 edge (SM-N935) device that could be on the lines of the Galaxy S7 Edge with the Edge Panels that you could use to easily manage content or set up shortcuts. The Galaxy Note7 (SM-N930) is already expected to come with an upgraded stylus, 6GB of RAM & the Snapdragon 823 chipset. In addition to that, we are expecting to see a 4000 mAh battery, IP68 water-resistant body that we already have been seeing on the S7 Series devices and the USB Type-C Port. On the same lines we are already hearing similar hardware for the Galaxy S8 that will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress next year.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Edge Announcement

The Edge device would be inspired from the Galaxy Note Edge that was first launched in 2014 & Samsung has been tasting success in this lineup. We had already heard some rumors from other brands that were reportedly working on similar edgy panels but there’s no official launch of the same. You can check out these stories to know more about the Xiaomi Mi Edge & the Vivo Transparent Edge display. We are looking forward to see what Samsung is going to launch this year & add to their currently successful S-Series lineup that has helped them get a positive market share.
