Animations may be a part of the reason for decreasing the level of performance on your phone. But, don’t worry; we got an option to disable them too. For that, you need to find ‘Developer Options’ under ‘Settings’. If it is unavailable then tap on the ‘Build Number’ under ‘About Phone’ in settings, for few times until it enables the ‘Developer Options’.

Now, you can see the window animation scale option where you need to turn off the animations. If you would like to keep the animations alive, then reduce the point to 0.5X. By doing this, you can see a change in the performance of your device.

Uninstall Apps

In Samsung devices, there will be few preinstalled apps which users don’t use much. So, make sure to remove such apps from your Galaxy J5 and keep it clean. Also, check for the apps which you don’t use much and uninstall those too. Unnecessary apps will eat up the storage and slows down the performance of your device. So, always make sure to remove such apps from the device for the smooth performance.

Download Latest Software

By updating your device on time, you can fix the minor errors of the older software version thus enhancing the performance of the device. Tap on the ‘About Phone’ option in settings and look for the system updates. If any updates are available, then download and install them to upgrade your device.

Remove Cache and Wipe Cache Partition

Samsung users will use many apps on their devices, and few of them ignore to clear the cache from apps. It affects the performance of the device and also occupies storage space. So, go to the app manager and visit each app to clear the cache.

If you are facing the low-performance issues even after clearing the cache from the apps, then turn off your phone and enter into the recovery mode. Now, select Wipe Cache partition and then select reboot system now. You can now see the difference in the performance of your mobile.

Few Other Tips

Apart from the above, remember to disable the auto-sync and background data usage for better performance of the phone. Also, turn off WiFi and Bluetooth connections whenever not in use.
