Samsung Galaxy A90 & Galaxy A90 5G to Launch with Snapdragon 855 SoC & 48MP Triple Rear Cameras

Recently, we have seen leaks about the high-end Galaxy A90 smartphone. The company is also rumored to launch the Galaxy A90 5G smartphone. Now, the latest leak reveals some key details about the Samsung Galaxy A90 smartphones. While the Galaxy S10 5G comes with a premium price tag, the Galaxy A90 5G will be competing with the affordable 5G smartphones from Chinese brands. As per the source, the SM-A905 and SM-A908 will be officially launched as Galaxy A90 and Galaxy A90 5G smartphones.
Both the Galaxy A90 and Galaxy A90 5G are mentioned to come with a 6.7-inch display. As seen with the other Galaxy A smartphones, the upcoming Galaxy A90 smartphones might also offer Full HD+ resolution. Both the smartphones will come powered by the 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 485 CPU and Adreno 640 GPU. We hope the company only launches the Snapdragon 855-powered Galaxy A90 smartphones across all the markets.
The flagship Samsung smartphones powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset are only limited to the US, China, and South Korea. With the Galaxy A90, we might finally see Snapdragon 855-powered Samsung smartphone in India. Talking about the cameras, the Galaxy A90 5G will come with triple rear cameras featuring 48MP primary sensor along with 8MP and 5MP sensors. On the other hand, the Galaxy A90 will come with 48MP + 12MP + 5MP triple camera setup on the rear.
The 48MP camera on the Galaxy A90 is also mentioned to come with exclusive tilt OIS technology. As of now, we have no details about how the tilt OIS technology works. Both the devices will be running on Android 9.0 Pie based One UI out of the box. We need to wait for a few more weeks to more details about the Galaxy A90 smartphones.
