Samsung Galaxy A8 - Unboxing

Samsung has proved one more time that why it’s a king of premium smartphone range with the latest offering in India. The recently launched Galaxy A8 is the new talk of the town device by the South Korean mobile giant. The new device is company’s slimmest smartphone yet at 5.9mm thickness, sporting a metal unibody build. The device clearly reminisces some of the features of Samsung Galaxy S6. Though, it is more like a bigger sibling of less known Galaxy Alpha, which company launched last year.

The A8 sport a large 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display that has a Full HD resolution and protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 4 at its service. While talking about the power inside, the device runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset, which is a 64-bit processor clocking at 1.5 GHz. Moreover, there is a 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage combination that is just right enough to offer great performance and storage space. The expansion availability to 128GB via a microSD card is a great addition if you are planning to consume a large chunk of space for your media storage needs.

Talking about the camera department, the device packs similar 16MP rear camera with a f/1.9 aperture that can be seen on the S6. There is a 5MP front facing camera on the device, which is a great tool for selfie lovers as the company has added many camera modes dedicated for selfies. Moreover, it packs a massive 3050mAh capacity battery that looks good on paper and should give a day’s charge easily.
