Samsung Galaxy A70 With 6.7” Display, SD 675 SoC & Triple Rear Cameras Launched in India

A week ago, Samsung had held an event in Bangkok, wherein the Korean tech giant had announced its new Galaxy A series line-up with the launch of Galaxy A80 and the Galaxy A70 smartphones. While the Galaxy A80 was scheduled to be available from May 29th, the Galaxy A70 was said to be available from April 25th. Regardless, Samsung has announced its Galaxy A70 in the Indian market.

Unlike the Galaxy A80 that comes with a full screen no notch – New Infinity display, the Galaxy A70 comes with Samsung’s Infinity U display. The A70 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display. The bezels on this notched display appear to be minimum going a larger screen real estate.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A70 packs in an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, followed by 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage along with micro SD expansion up to 512GB. As for the cameras, the Galaxy A70 features triple rear cameras comprising of a 32MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP depth sensor, which has an aperture of f/2.2. The front of the device that has the notch on the top beholds a 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

The Galaxy A70 is fueled by a decent 4500mAh battery that supports Samsung’s 25W Super Fast charging via USB type-C. For authentication, the Galaxy A70 features an on=screen fingerprint sensor as well. The Galaxy A70 ships with Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box.

And lastly, as for the pricing, the Galaxy A70 is priced at Rs 28,990 and is said to available for pre-booking between April 20 and April 30. Samsung is also providing offers for Indian consumers for instance users who pre-book can buy a Samsung U Flex Bluetooth device for Rs 999, which is actually priced at Rs 3,799.

The Galaxy A70 availability is said to be from May 1, according to the company, and the device will be featuring in White, Blue, and Black color variants. Stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more such interesting updates.
