Samsung Galaxy A70 Goes Official with 6.7″ Display & 32MP Triple Rear Cameras
Samsung has already confirmed to unveil a new smartphone in the Galaxy A lineup on April 10th. While we expect Samsung to launch the Galaxy A90 on that day, we have already seen a couple of new smartphone announcements in the last week itself. Today, the company came up with a new Galaxy A smartphone called Galaxy A70 with high-end specifications. The device looks very much similar to the Galaxy A50 but comes in a bigger size.
It sports a glossy finish polycarbonate body with gradient finish and curved edges. On the front, we are looking at a large 6.7-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is an unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. The device comes in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants and offers 128GB of internal storage. There is also a dedicated MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage up to 512GB.
The Galaxy A70 runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with the latest One UI skin on top. As seen on the Galaxy A50, the new Galaxy A70 also comes with an on-screen fingerprint scanner and support face unlock. Talking about the cameras, the device sports triple rear cameras featuring 32MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
It offers a 32MP selfie camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture. It is backed by a 4,500mAh non-removable battery and supports 25W Super Fast Charging. Both the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS. 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. The Samsung Galaxy A70 will be available in Black, Blue, Coral, and White color options.
The company hasn’t revealed the pricing or the availability of this device. We will be knowing more details on April 10th where Samsung is rumored to unveil the Galaxy A90 smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
