Samsung Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A30s Launched with Infinity Displays & Triple Rear Cameras

Samsung has recently brought its flagship Galaxy Note 10 series to India, right after the global launch that took place early this month. The Korean tech giant has now announced two new Galaxy phones under its Galaxy A series — the Galaxy A50s and the Galaxy A30s. These are supposedly the incremental upgrades to the current Galaxy A50 and the Galaxy A30 smartphones, launched early this year. These new Galaxy A series phones feature new design elements, better cameras, and few different color options as well.

Starting with the Galaxy A50s, the device comes with 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display featuring Samsung’s Infinity-U display. It is enclosed in a new geometric pattern design on the back, which also generates a new holographic effect as well. Under the hood, the Galaxy A50s is powered by a quad-core processor that has clock speeds of up-to 2.3GHz — followed by either 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB internal storage, which can further be expanded by a microSD of up to 512GB.

In terms of optics, the Galaxy A50s features triple rear cameras comprising of a 48MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture coupled with 5MP secondary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, which is capable of featuring a 123-degree field of view. Upfront, the Infinity-U display notch features a 32MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0.

As for the Galaxy A30s is concerned, it also features a 6.40-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-V display. However, unlike the A50s the A30s comes with HD+ resolution. The design elements are also shared by the Galaxy A30s with the A50s as well. When it comes to performance, the Galaxy A30s packs in a dual 1.8GHz processor and also packs in 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64/128GB of internal storage. The onboard storage can also be expanded via microSD card of upto 512GB. As for the cameras, the Galaxy A30s features three cameras on the rear featuring 25MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture — followed by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP secondary sensor as well. The front of the device carries a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

Both the Galaxy A50s and the Galaxy A30s feature a decent 4000mAh battery, which further supports 15W fast charging via USB Type-C. They also feature On-screen Fingerprint sensor for authentication. As of now, Samsung has launched these phones globally, the Indian launch and availability are yet to be known. Regardless, the Galaxy A50s and the A30s are said to be available in Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Green, and Prism Crush Violet color variants.
