The HTC Wildfire X smartphone which was announced last week will now be going for sale in India starting today and will be available exclusively via Flipkart. The device is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB / 32GB storage variant while the 4GB / 128GB storage option is priced at Rs. 13,999. For a limited period, the handset can be bought for Rs. 1000 off but the time frame is not mentioned. The handset will we coming in Sapphire Blue color option.
Talking about the device, the Wildfire X comes with a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1520 pixels resolutions giving and aspect ratio of 19:9. Under the hood, there is a MediaTek MT6762 Helio P22 12nm Octa-core processor with a clocking speed of 2.0GHz. The handset is available in 3GB as well as 4GB RAM variants as mentioned above and will be available in 32GB and 128GB onboard storage which can be extended up to 256GB via microSD card slot.
Out of the box, it will be coming with Android 9 Pie operating system which should also be getting further updates. The device has a triple camera setup on the back with a 12MP main camera sensor and a secondary 8MP camera along with a 5MP depth sensor. It comes with Dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, panorama and has a single 8MP camera on the front for selfies and facial unlocking. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the back to enhance the security levels.
HTC has included a 3300mAh battery on this device that comes without any fast charging support can be charged via USB Type-C port.
