The successor of the Oppo Reno has been launched and is been dubbed as Oppo Reno 2. The handset comes with 20x Digital Zoom and 5x digital zoom. The device will be available in Ocean Blue and Luminous Black color option. This handset has been launched along with the Oppo Reno2 Z. The Oppo Reno 2 Z is priced at Rs.29,990 and Reno 2 is available for Rs. 36,990.
The Oppo Reno 2 comes with a 48MP Ultra-clear camera along with an 8MP Wide-angle sensor, 13MP Telephoto camera, and 2MP portrait camera. The handset comes with a Hidden Fingerprint Unlock 3.0 which is a 16 percent increase. It comes with a 6.55-inch dynamic AMOLED screen with a Full-HD+ resolution, and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.1 percent and has the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass.
The device comes with a shark fin selfie camera as we have seen on its successor that houses a 16MP camera. Under the hood, there is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC which is coupled with 8GB of RAM. The onboard storage’s 256GB and has a 4000mAh battery on the back with VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology support via USB Type-C port. It will come out of the box with Android 9 Pie operating system with ColourOS 6.1 on top.
The Oppo Reno 2 will go on sale from September 20 and the Reno 2Z will be available starting from September 6. The pre-orders for Oppo Reno 2Z will open later today. The Oppo Reno 2F will go on sale in November. All these smartphones will be sold via Flipkart, Amazon, and Oppo partner stores.
