Samsung Galaxy A20 Goes Official with 6.4” Display & 4000mAh Battery

Samsung has launched its new Galaxy A20 which will be a new addition to its Galaxy A series. We have already seen the Galaxy A10, A30 and A50 devices that were launched initially and now the Galaxy A20 has been officially launched in Russia and confirmed the specs and pricing of the same. The device has been announced along with the Galaxy A30 and A50 but there is no information on the launch of Galaxy A10 in the country.

The device comes with a 6.4-inch HD+ (720×1560 pixels) display along with infinity-V notch. There is a 3D Glasstic build like we have seen on other handsets in the A-series. The device will be powered with an Exynos 7884 octa-core processor (with two high power cores clocked at 1.6GHz and six efficiency cores with a clock speed of 1.35GHz) coupled with 3GB of RAM and has 32GB of onboard storage that can be extended further up to 512GB via microSD card.

On the camera front, the device comes with a dual camera setup on the rear with on 13MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a secondary 5MP camera with f/2.2 aperture size. On the front, we can find an 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies. On the rear Samsung has provided the device with a fingerprint sensor and also supports Samsung Pay. It is powered with a 4000mAh battery but nothing is known if it supports fast charging or not.

The Galaxy A20 from Samsung is priced at RUB 13,990 (approx Rs. 15,000) and can be purchased in Russia from Samsung brand stores along with the company’s official online store as well as partner channels in the country. There is no information on global availability of the same as of now which should be known soon. Samsung has also scheduled an event on April 10 where Galaxy A90 along with few other devices can be unveiled.
