Huawei launched its Watch GT in India last week and now the smartwatch is available for sale in both Classic and Sports variants. According to the Amazon listing, the device will be in stock on 21st of March and the shipment to the customers will be reaching its customers on the 23rd of March. This device is priced at Rs 15,990 for the Sports variant while the Classic option is priced at Rs. 16,990. Both the variants will come with a free Huawei AM61 Sports Bluetooth Earphone for a limited period as part of launch offer.
The Classic variant features a leather-rubber strap with steel chassis while the sports variant comes with a dual-color silicone strap with a black steel chassis. The smartwatch features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454 x 454 pixels resolutions and will be running on Huawei’s own platform. The device will be coming with a sports mode that can notify the users to adjust the intensity of the workouts.
While in rest mode, the device will monitor and record the resting heart rate automatically with TruSeen 3.0 heart rate monitor technology. The watch also uses invisible light to monitor the heart rate of the user during sleep. The device can track all indoor and outdoor exercises. The device is said to come with innovative smart power saving algorithm which will be enabling it to dynamically change between performing and efficiency modes which depend on the activity of the users for providing maximum battery life.
The Watch GT runs on companies own LiteOS and comes with the connectivity options like Bluetooth v4.2 and NFC. The watch will run along with the devices running Android 4.4 or later and iOS 9.0 or later and is also water-resistant up to 50 meters.
