In the coming weeks, Xiaomi’s Redmi will be launching its first ever flagship smartphone called Redmi K20 in China. It is even confirmed to launch in the Indian market as well. The Redmi K20 was earlier spotted on online with the codename Raphael. Today, Lu Weibing, Redmi’s General Manager in China, shared the screenshot revealing the Antutu score of the Redmi K20 smartphone. It has scored an impressive 458,754 on Antutu which way higher than the Antutu score of Xiaomi Mi 9 smartphone.
Apart from the Antutu score, no new details of the device are revealed today. The official teaser video posted a couple of weeks back confirmed the device to sport true bezel-less display and pop-up selfie camera. The Redmi K20 also becomes the first ever Redmi smartphone to come with an AMOLED display and in-display fingerprint scanner. It will come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform built on 7nm FinFET node.
It comes coupled with the powerful Kryo 485 CPU along with the Adreno 640 GPU. Along with the pop-up selfie camera, the device will reportedly offer triple camera setup on the rear. Based on the leaks, it sports a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 16MP telephoto sensor. While the Redmi K20 comes in 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB storage options, the Redmi K20 Pro will be available in 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB storage options.
As of now, there is no about the difference between the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones. However, both the variants will be available in Carbon Fiber Black, Glacier Blue, and Flame Red color options. The company also confirmed to retain the 3.5mm audio jack which has been missing on the Xiaomi’s flagship smartphones. With the NFC support, the Redmi K20 smartphones also support Mi Pay in China.
