Realme has finally confirmed a date for its official debut in the Chinese market. The company will be unveiling the all-new Realme X line up on May 15ht in Beijing, China. We have already several leaks about these upcoming smartphones in the last few weeks. The company will reportedly launch three new smartphones – Realme X, Realme X Lite, and Realme X Pro. The Realme X Lite will be the same Realme 3 Pro smartphone which was recently launched in India.
While the other two smartphones will come with a bezel-less display and pop-up selfie camera, the Realme X Lite will sport waterdrop notch display. Under the hood, the Realme X Lite will come powered by the same Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform. Talking about the Realme X, it is rumored to sport the newly announced Snapdragon 730 Mobile Platform instead of Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform. It already got listed on TENAA with the model RMX1901.
It offers a true bezel-less display with no notch or bezels. On the rear, the Relme X will stick with the dual camera setup. However, it might now use the 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor as its primary sensor. As per the leaks, the Snapdragon 855-powered Realme X Pro will be available at a later date. While the smartphones with Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform are currently available for CNY 3000 (approx USD 445 / INR 30,000) in China, the upcoming Realme X Pro will be most affordable Snapdragon 855-smartphone.
While the Realme X Lite comes with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, the Realme X sports in-display fingerprint scanner. As seen with the Realme 3 Pro, all the upcoming Realme X smartphones will support VOOC 3.0 flash charge technology. The recent leak revealed the base variant of the Snapdragon 855-powered Realme X Pro to cost just CNY 2299 (approx USD 340 / INR 23,500).
