Realme today had launched the successor to the Realme C1 smartphone – the Realme C2 in the country. The company had launched its new budget smartphone the Realme C2, which comes with Realme’s conventional diamond cut design, which the company calls it Diamond-cut Smudge Free Design on the back and the device will be featuring Diamond Blue and Diamond Black color variants.
The Realme C2 features a 6.1-inch HD+ display with Dewdrop screen, which is further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Realme C2 display comes with a 19.5:9 aspect-ratio that further achieves a screen-to-body ratio of 89.35%. On the whole, the Realme C2 features a full-screen display with slightly thinner bezels. The Realme C2 is powered by a 12nm MediaTek Helio P22 chipset followed by 2/3GB of RAM and 16/32GB of onboard storage variants.
As for the cameras, the Realme C2 features dual cameras set up on the rear featuring a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. As for the video recording is concerned, the Realme C2 can capture slow-motion recording at 80fps/480P. The cameras further feature Chroma Boost mode that was introduced with Realme 3 earlier. On the front, the Realme C2 comes with AI-powered 5MP selfie camera. The Realme C2 ships with Ad-free ColorOS 6.0 that is Android 9/0 Pie-based and for authentication, the device features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and also features AI Face Unlock feature as well. The Realme C2 is further fueled by a 4000mAh battery.
As for the pricing, the Realme C2 2GB+16GB is priced at Rs 5,999 and 3GB+32GB variant is priced at Rs 7,999. The first sale of the Realme C2 starts from 15th May and will available on Flipkart and Realme website and the company had further confirmed that the Realme C2 will also be available in offline stores in sometime soon as well.
