Realme launched its new mid-range Realme 3 Pro smartphone in India. It brings the Snapdragon 700 series chipset to sub Rs 15,000 price segment for the very first time. During the launch event, the company announced the Realme 3 Pro in 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB storage variants for Rs 13,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively. Today, the company also launched the 6GB + 64GB variant for Rs 15,999. There are also reports that the company might launch 8GB RAM variant in the month of June.
The device comes with a glossy finish polycarbonate body with curved edges. On the front, the Realme 3 Pro sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with waterdrop notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the device comes powered 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 mobile platform coupled with Kryo 360 CPU and Adreno 616 GPU. There is also a dedicated MicroSD card slot for the further expanding the storage up to 256GB.
In the camera department, the Realme 3 Pro sports dual camera setup on featuring a 16MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the device offers a 25MP camera with f/2.0 aperture on the front. The camera app also comes loaded with AI scene detection, chroma boost, and 960fps super slow-motion recording. While there is a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, the Realme 3 Pro also supports face unlock.
After launching in several Asian markets, the company is now set to make its debut in China. The Realme 3 Pro and RMX1901 smartphones are now certified by Chinese TENAA. The RMX1901 sports a complete bezel-less display with pop-up selfie camera and offers an in-display fingerprint scanner.
