iBall had launched its second 4G LTE smartphone ‘iBall Andi Sprinter 4G‘ in India. While there are lot many devices launching on the occasion of Diwali, this device hasn’t any path breaking features to consider it as a special. It is priced at Rs. 7,099 and comes in the Special Gold and Wine colors. Earlier the company had launched its first-ever 4G LTE smartphone ‘iBall Cobalt Solus 4G.’
The Andi Sprinter comes with dual SIM slots with 4G LTE support on SIM 1. It also has an IR Blaster with which you can control the TV, AC, and other electronics directly with your device. It has a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display while other smartphones at this price range come with an HD Display. The device is powered by the 1GHz MediaTek Quad-Core processor along with 1GB of RAM.
It has an 8GB of internal storage out of which only 4.4GB is left over for the end user. On the camera front, it has an 8MP rear facing camera with LED flash and 3.2MP selfie camera on the front of the device. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth, MicroUSB port along with 4G LTE.
The device is backed by a 2,100mAh removable battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lolipop. In addition, it also has 9 Indian regional language support and a pre-installed keyboard with 21 language support. There are few bloatware apps included such as Clean Master, Hungama Music, Citrus Cube and few others. The company also offers a protective cover for free along with the device.
Compared to the Cobalt Solus 4G, the device sports a slightly larger battery but lacks in the camera department. This can be justified with the 5,000 price difference between both the devices.
