The Mobile World Congress (MWC) is commencing on 24th of next month in Barcelona. And, all the major smartphone manufacturers have started teasing what they are about to offer at the event. One of those OEMs, the Chinese manufacturer OPPO has begun sending out invites via Twitter, which reveals the OPPO’s 2019 Innovation Event scheduled at MWC.
The company teaser hints us the earlier leaks about the foldable phone are presumably true. Not long ago OPPO’s foldable smartphone patents have appeared online and were hinted to be revealed at MWC, this year. Likewise, the teased image suggests the same, since it’s an Innovation Event, after all, we can expect the demonstration of OPPO’s first foldable smartphone would most likely see the light at MWC in Barcelona next month.
Earlier last year, OPPO has unveiled its innovative OPPO Find X with Full-Screen display without any notch, which was industry’s first phone to utilize motors to launch the cameras and sensors on a smartphone. Considering this history of the Chinese smartphone maker, it is safe to assume that the company would most certainly showcase its foldable display smartphone at MWC 2019.
The teaser invite on the Twitter handle of OPPO also uses a hashtag called #GetCloser, which would mean the company would also showcase its 10X lossless zoom technology, which the company had unveiled at Future Technology Communication Conference. This technology from OPPO utilizes a triple camera lens system instead of dual cameras to achieve the lossless zoom on a smartphone camera. These two unveilings by OPPO might be some of the few innovative technologies by the company, which we can expect at MWC 2019. Stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more interesting updates.
