After launching the OPPO F9 Pro and R17 smartphones with waterdrop screen, the company now launched a new smartphone called OPPO A7X with the same display. While the device looks exactly similar to the OPPO F9 Pro, it actually comes with downgraded cameras. The OPPO A7X comes in Star Purple and Twilight Blue color options. It is priced at 1999 Yuan (approx $290 / Rs 20,999) and the sales will begin from September 14th.

It comes with a glossy finish polycarbonate body with the diamond design. On the front is the 6.3-inch waterdrop screen with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. With the tiny notch on the top, the device will be offering 90.8% screen-to-body ratio. As seen on the OPPO F9 Pro, the new A7X also comes powered by 64-bit MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU.

There is 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage on this device. Also, there is a dedicated MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with ColorOS 5.2 laid on top. In terms of optics, the OPPO A7X sports 16MP + 8MP dual cameras on the rear and a 16MP single camera on the front for selfies. The device sports rear-facing fingerprint sensor and also supports face unlock feature.
