As teased earlier, Huawei launched a new smartphone called Maimang 7 today in China. It is exactly the same Huawei Mate 20 Lite which was unveiled at the recently concluded IFA 2018 in Berlin. The Huawei Maimang 7 is priced at Rs 2399 Yuan and comes in Gold, Blue, and Black color options. Unlike other new Huawei smartphones, the Maimang 7 doesn’t come in gradine color options. It is now available to pre-order and sales will begin on September 15th.
It sports Aluminum frame with 3D curved glass on the rear. There is a 6.3-inch IPS display on the front with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. It comes powered by 64-bit HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G51 GPU. There is 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be further expandable up to 256GB using a MicroSD card slot. The Maimang 7 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with EMUI 8.2 skin laid on top.
In the camera department, the Maimang 7 sports 20MP + 2MP dual rear cameras with f/1.8 aperture and 24MP + 2MP dual front cameras with f/2.0 aperture. The company is including the AI-based features like scene detection, 3D QMoji, and AIS. It is backed by a 3,750mAh non-removable battery that also supports 9V/2A (18W) Quick Charge fast charging technology. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
While there is a rear-facing fingerprint sensor, the device also supports face unlock. The device sports rear-facing fingerprint sensor and also comes with face unlock feature. It measures 158.3 x 75.3 x 7.6 mm and weighs 172 grams. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
