Oppo A5s is a new budget-friendly device which has been launch in India for a starting price of Rs. 9,990. The device will be included in the A series and will be the successor of the Oppo A5 which was launched last year. Furthermore, it will be the first smartphone in India which will be powered by MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. Oppo will also be offering extra 4G data and discount on unlimited plans with the partnership with Jio.
Talking about the specs sheet of the latest device from Oppo, it will be coming with a big 6.2-inch HD+ display with 1520 x 720 pixels resolutions with a waterdrop notch that will be housing the selfie camera. As mentioned, it will be equipped by an Octa-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU with a clocking speed of 2.3GHz from MediaTek. It will come with a 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage option and also has 3GB as well as 4GB variants also. The user can extend the storage further up to 256GB via dedicated microSD card slot.
There will be a 13MP main camera sensor on the rear along with a secondary 2MP camera with f/2.2 aperture size. On the front, we can find an 8MP front-facing sensor with f/2.0 aperture size. This is the same camera setup as we have seen in the case of the Oppo A5. There is a fingerprint scanner on the rear to enhance the security levels and has connectivity options like Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi, OTG and few more along with the sensors like E-Compass, Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, and G-Sensor.
It will come out of the box with Android 9 Pie operating system based on the companies own ColorOS 5.2 on top. It has a big 4230mAh and will be available in Red, Black, Gold, and Green color options. The handset measures 155.9 mm x 75.4 mm x 8.2 mm and weighs 170 grams.
