The Oppo A1k has been in the leaks from a few days and the company has launched the device in India. This entry-level smartphone is priced at Rs. 8,490 in the country and will be available on Red and Black color options. As of now, the device is available via offline retails stores but nothing is known about the online sale. Furthermore, it will have a water drop notch display on the front and the fingerprint scanner is not available on the handset.

The Oppo A1k will be coming with a 6.1-inch IPS LCD HD+ (1560 x 720) pixels display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection o the top giving an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Heli0 P22 SoC, Octa-core processor with a clocking speed of 2.2GHz coupled with a 2GB RAM, which should be the con for the device since many smartphones from different brands are offering the 3GB option in the similar price range.

There is an onboard storage of 32GB which could be extended further via microSD card slot. There is a 4000mAh battery on the handset to power it and will come with 2X fast charging technology which we should be known in detail later. There is a single 8 MP main camera sensor on the device along with a 5MP camera on the front. It comes out of the box with Android 9 Pie operating system with ColourOS 6.0 on top.

Since there is no fingerprint scanner on the handset it would be having face unlocking itself. It will be a dual SIM variant which will come with the connectivity options like, 4GB VoLTE, GPS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2 and few more along with the sensors that are required for automation of the handset.
