OnePlus TV teased on Amazon, India launch confirmed by CEO Pete Lau



Last week, OnePlus had named its much-anticipated TV as –– the OnePlus TV and has unveiled the logo of it. The moniker announcement had been a relaxation to the OnePlus fans who were contemplating when the launch would be happening since it was announced late last year. That said since the logo has been unveiled already, now, the company’s CEO Pete Lau has further shed some information about the OnePlus TV and the launch details as well.

CEO Pete Lau has announced the OnePlus TV is all set to launch in India first and has also assured that the company is working on launching in other regions including — the US, Europe, and China as well. The interesting part of the announcement is that the Indian consumers get to see OnePlus TV as early as next month. CEO has confirmed in the OnePlus’ forum post indicating the early launch in India is due to the fact that the company has achieved prominent progress in the Indian market with its OnePlus devices including the latest OnePlus 7 Pro series.

Suggesting the launch is imminent, Amazon India has also started teasing the OnePlus TV on the e-commerce platform. Similar to any other product launches, Amazon India has also mentioned the ‘Notify Me’ tab of the OnePlus TV, meaning we could anticipate the OnePlus TV as early as possible most likely first or second week of next month.

As for the OnePlus TV is concerned, CEO Pete has assured we could expect the company’s focus on fundamental features of the TV, including the image and sound quality to be intact. We can also expect the OnePlus TV featuring a different design to take on the competition and also to have a smarter connectivity options as well. OnePlus has also started teasing its OnePlus TV on Twitter by asking OnePlus fans to ‘Guess the specs’ of the upcoming TV as well.
