Earlier today, OnePlus has shared a teaser video mentioning its upcoming smartphone will be Fast and Smooth. The company is rumored to launch OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G on May 14th. The recent CAD renders of these upcoming smartphone gave us the unofficial first look. Now, we got to know a few more interesting details about the OnePlus 7 Pro smartphone. This year, the company will be coming out with all guns blazing to compete with the other premium flagship smartphones. Until now, the company compromised on a few aspects to keep the price low.

While the OnePlus 7 will continue to be the affordable flagship device, the OnePlus 7 Pro will offer several first of its kind features ever seen on a OnePlus smartphone. The CAD renders already confirmed the OnePlus 7 Pro to sport AMOLED display with curved edges on either side. According to the latest leaks, the display on the Pro variant will offer Quad HD+ resolution and has 90Hz refresh rate. As of now, the ASUS ROG Phone is the only smartphone to come with a 90Hz display. However, the Razer Phone’s 16:9 displays offer a much better refresh rate of 120Hz.

Even with the higher refresh content, there is not much content available to take advantage of the gaming experience. However, we hope it changes with after OnePlus enters the scene. The device will also come equipped with a stereo speaker setup. While the OnePlus 6T comes with a 3,700mAh battery, the OnePlus 7 Pro will be backed by a bigger 4,000mAh battery. The Warp Charge 30 introduced with the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition will be offered as a standard feature with the OnePlus 7 Pro. Also, it comes with a USB 3.1 connectivity which will result in faster data transfer speeds.

As seen in the earlier leaked images, the OnePlus 7 Pro will sport triple camera setup on the rear. We will be looking at telephoto and wide-angle sensors alongside the primary sensor. On the other hand, the OnePlus 7 is rumored to come with a dual camera setup. Just like the OnePlus 6 devices, the upcoming OnePlus 7 lineup will also stick with the 3D curved glass body. While the OnePlus 7 sports waterdrop notch display, the OnePlus 7 Pro will offer a complete bezel-less display with a pop-up selfie camera. Also, the devices will be running on Android 9.0 Pie based Oxygen OS 9.0 out of the box. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more updates!
