OnePlus 6T with In-display Fingerprint Scanner Could Launch on October 17th
OnePlus will soon launch the OnePlus 6T as an upgrade to the OnePlus 6. The leaked retail box of the OnePlus 6T already confirmed the company to introduce the In-display fingerprint sensor and waterdrop screen. According to CNET, OnePlus has confirmed about the presence of in-display fingerprint sensor on the upcoming OnePlus 6T. While we can also unofficially confirm the use of waterdrop screen, there is no source backing the rumored triple camera setup on this device.
While no one pointed out, the date on the lock screen image shared by OnePlus hints towards the launch date of the OnePlus 6T. We guess the company will officially unveil the OnePlus 6T on October 17th. Looking at the current trend, OnePlus might also introduce the OnePlus 6T in gradient color options. Since the device will continue to sport glass back body, the rumors suggest the company will now include the wireless charging support.
Instead of wireless charging, we actually expect them to bring the next-gen Dash Charge technology on par with the OPPO’s Super VOOC flash charge technology. Talking about the internals, the main hardware should remain same as on the OnePlus 6. We will be seeing the same Optic AMOLED display but with a tiny notch. Under the hood, the device will come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform along with Adreno 630 GPU and 6GB/8GB of RAM. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
