OnePlus 6T confirmed to Ship with Android Pie based Oxygen OS

OnePlus 6T is nearing its launch and the company has confirmed that the device will be shipped with the latest Android Pie Operating system out of the box, based on Oxygen OS. This news about the Android software was shared in a post on Weibo and it was revealed by the company’s CEO – Pete Lau, who said 6T will be coming preloaded with Android 9 Pie. Well, we are not sure of the pricing of this upcoming device for which we have to wait for a couple more weeks till the device gets announced officially.

The new update will be bringing many changes, that includes new gesture-based navigations, recent apps center to the UI of the phone, notification center. The company also claims the latest Oxygen OS is fast, smooth and also burden less experience without much fuss. The UI is also said to come with a built-in AI-based algorithm which allows the smartphone to learn for the habits of the users, making it more easy to use.

In an Interview, Pete Lau also said that they are working on a lot of things for the upcoming device (OnePlus 6T) and they have a completely new user interface that needs to be tried out personally to understand all its changes. Their goal is to express the OnePlus style in the interface making it the clearest and intuitive versions of OxygenOS and they have also been working hard to bring improvements in the camera.

The upcoming OnePlus 6T will be boasting the latest Snapdragon 845 SoC with 8GB of RAM. It is expected to come with a water-drop notch and also an AMOLED screen along with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Nothing much is known about the device as of now which should be revealed soon.
