Lenovo will be launching its new mid-range smartphone called Lenovo S5 Pro on October 18th in China. The Lenovo S5 Pro will be an upgrade to the Lenovo S5 launched in March this year. While the Lenovo S5 came with 18:9 display and dual rear cameras, the upcoming Lenovo S5 Pro sports 19:9 notch display and dual cameras on the front and rear. It is now listed on China’s TENAA with the model number L58041.
While the device was earlier rumored to sport quad cameras on the rear, it actually comes with dual cameras on the front and rear. The Lenovo S5 Pro will be coming with a 6.18-inch IPS display with Full HD+ (2246 × 1080 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it comes powered by an unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. We expect the company to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform.
The device in three different storage options – 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB, and 6GB + 128GB. There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage up to 128GB. In terms of optics, the device sports 20MP + 12MP dual camera setup on the rear and 20MP + 8MP dual camera setup on the front. The device is backed by a 3500mAh and there is no information over the fast charging support.
It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with custom ZUI skin laid on top. The Lenovo S5 Pro measures 154.5 × 75.45 × 7.7 mm and weighs 160 grams. It comes in Black, Red, Gold, Silver, and White color options.
