OnePlus has reportedly started pushing a new update for the OnePlus 6 and 6T smartphones. The new update version for these OnePlus 6 is Oxygen Open Beta 22 and for the top-end, OnePlus 6T it is OxygenOS Open Beta 14. Although there the name of the update is different, the changelogs are similar. Focussing on the improvements and optimization this update brings a newly added feature which is a clock widget for the home screen.
The users will also be able to switch app on the OnePlus 6 as well as OnePlus 6T is said to be supporting more types of data which will be helpful when the owner plans to switch to another device. The clock widget for the smartphone added to the home screen can be added just like any other widgets easily. Furthermore, the updates also bring the Android security patch for the month of July along with bug fixes and improvements.
The issue with the camera while using quick reply in the landscape mode has also got few improvements and along with it, the app stability of the OnePlus File Manager app which is pre-installed on the smartphone has also got improvements. Few other tweaks, like improved UI bottom navigation and other bug fixes. To remind you OnePlus has launched the successor of the OnePlus 6 and 6T smartphones called as OnePlus 7 along with the OnePlus 7 Pro device.
The update has already started rolling out to both the smartphones and might take some time to reach your device or you can also install the update manually by heading to the settings of the smartphone and then clicking on the system update section.
