Nubia Z20 Smartphone with Dual Display & SD 855 Plus to go on first sale today



Last week on 8th of August, Nubia announced its Nubia Z20 smartphone with dual display and now the device will be going for its first sale in China starting today. This is also the first non-gaming smartphone to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option is priced at 3499 Yuan (approx Rs. 35,200) while the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at 3699 Yuan (approx Rs. 37,200) and top 8GB RAM with 512GB of storage is priced at 4199 Yuan (approx Rs. 42,200).

Since the device comes with dual displays on both sides, it also has a dual fingerprint sensor that is mounted on the side. It will be featuring a 6.42-inch (1080 × 2340 pixels) 19.5:9 FHD+ AMOLED primary display while the secondary display has 5.1-inch HD+ AMOLED screen. Both displays can be used to view two different apps simultaneously and also have two different Always-on Display (AOD). The display on the rear has a virtual button that can be used as a viewfinder while taking selfies.

As mentioned, the handset will come with Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC and coupled with 6GB / 8GB RAM. It will come out of the box with latest Android 9 Pie operating system based on Nubia UI 7. The handset gets a 48MP main camera on the rear with 1/2.25” Sony IMX586 sensor along with f/1.7 aperture size, dual flash, OIS and more. Furthermore, there is also an 8MP telephoto lens for 3x lossless zoom and 30x digital zoom with 16MP ultra-wide angle lens. The main camera is also capable of shooting 8K videos at 15fps.

On the rear, we can find a 4000mAh battery with the support for 27W fast PD charging. The connectivity option does not include the 3.5mm audio jack and uses the USB Type-C charging port.
