Motorola One Action Announced with 21:9 Screen & Ultra wide Camera – Details

Motorola One Action smartphone has been in the news from a long time and today the company has decided to unveil the handset. This phone comes with an Action camera on its rear and its name indicates the same. The handset will be going for sale starting from 16 August in Europe, Brazil, and Mexico for €260. The device will be following to other parts like Latin America countries and other Europeans countries in the coming months while the US and Canada will be receiving it in early October. The handset will be available in Pearl White and Denim Blue color options.

The device comes with an Action Camera on the rear which has a 117-degree ultra-wide-angle lens that can capture videos at 1080p at 60fps. There is also a 16MP camera that uses 4-in1 pixel binning to improve the image quality even in low light conditions and is also supported by EIS. The sensors are oriented in such a way that it is capable of recording landscape videos even when it is held vertically.

For shooting regular photos and videos there is a 12MP main camera sensor that can record 4K videos at 30fps. There is a 5MP depth sensor also with 12MP selfie camera. On the rear, we can also find a fingerprint sensor along with the Motorola logo. The handset has a 6.3-inch punch-hole display with Full HD+ (2520 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio. The device is rated with IPX2 certification which is not rugged considering it comes with an action camera.

Out of the box, the Motorola One Action comes with Android 9 Pie operating system and is also a part of Android One Programme. The device comes powered by the Samsung’s Exynos 9609 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz and has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that can be extended further via microSD card slot.
