Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 5.1 Plus Get Price Cut in India

HMD Global has recently announced price cuts on quite a few of its smartphones. The Nokia 5.1 Plus is the latest smartphone to get a discount in India. The company also announced another price cut on the Nokia 6.1 Plus. Both the smartphones are already available at new discounted prices on Amazon India. The 6GB RAM variant of the Nokia 5.1 Plus was originally launched for Rs 17,499 in India. It is now available for just Rs 12,999 making it one of the most affordable 6GB RAM smartphones in India.
Talking about the Nokia 6.1 Plus, the 4GB + 64GB storage option is now retailing for Rs 12,680. Both the Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus come with glossy finish body and sport notch displays on the front. The devices are part of Android One family and are guaranteed to receive two major OS updates and three years of monthly security patch updates. The Nokia 5.1 Plus comes with a 5.86-inch HD+ ( 720×1520 pixels) with 19:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, the device is powered by 12nm MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It sports 13MP + 5MP dual camera setup on the rear with f/2.0 aperture and 8MP selfie camera on the front with f/2.2 aperture. On the other hand, the Nokia 6.1 Plus sports 5.8-inch Full HD+ (2280 × 1080 pixels) and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It comes packed with 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform and Adreno 509 GPU.
On the rear, the Nokia 6.1 Plus sports 16MP + 5MP dual camera setup with f/2.0 aperture and EIS. There is a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture which can also be used for face unlock. The Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus are backed by 3,060mAh battery and come with USB Type-C port for charging. Earlier this week, the company also rolled out the Android 9.0 Pie update to the Nokia 1 smartphone. Now, all the Nokia smartphones are running on the latest version of Android.
